MOSCOW, January 18 (Itar-Tass) — Russia may refuse to fulfil some obligations within the framework of the World Trade Organization in response to the United States’ unwillingness to cancel the Jackson-Vanik amendment, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a news conference on Wednesday reviewing the results of 2011.
“If the Jackson-Vanik amendment remains effective, agreements that we concluded within the framework of the WTO will not be applied to our trade with the United States,” he said.
