MOSCOW, January 16 (Itar-Tass) — The Kremlin has begun to draft a new law on the State Duma elections, the president’s aide, head of the state legal department Larisa Brychyova, said on Monday.

The draft law may be submitted to the State Duma for consideration by February 10-15.

“From our point of view it is necessary to consider draft laws on elections as one package,” she said.

Dmitry Medvedev’s aide noted that the draft laws on governor’s elections, on parties and collection of signatures for candidates’ nomination have already been submitted to the lower house of parliament.

“Therefore we consider everything as a whole and on Monday we started drafting a new law on the State Duma elections,” Brychyova said. “There is a huge bundle of corrections.”
