Naryshkin appoints Pollyeva as chief of State Duma staff

Pollyeva’s candidacy was supported unanimously by all factions

MOSCOW, January 13 (Itar-Tass) —— State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin signed a decree to appoint Dzhakhan Pollyeva as chief of the State Duma staff on Friday, the deputy chief of the State Duma staff and the chief of the department for public relations and cooperation with media, Yuri Shuvalov, told Itar-Tass on Friday.

On December 26, the State Duma Committee for Regulations approved Pollyeva’s candidacy for the chief of the State Duma staff. Pollyeva’s candidacy was supported unanimously by all factions – United Russia, the CPRF, the LDPR and A Just Russia, chairman of this committee Ildar Gabdrakhmanov told Itar-Tass then.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev issued a decree earlier on Friday to relieve Pollyeva from the post of the Russian presidential aide over the transfer to another post.
