NAZRAN, January 13 (Itar-Tass) —— A former senior policeman accused of abducting a Chechen resident was heavily wounded overnight when a homemade bomb exploded in the yard of his house in Ingushetia.
Police said Ilez Naldiev, former deputy chief of Karabulak interior department, was hospitalized in grave condition from his home in the settlement of Surkhakhi near Nazran in North Caucasus.
Naldiev and former chief of Karabulak interior department Nazir Guliev are facing charges for abducting and using brute force against a Chechen resident.
