MOSCOW, January 13 (Itar-Tass) —— Six people were killed in a fire in a household in Komi Republic on Thursday, the emergencies ministry said adding the death toll included a baby.

It said a fire was also reported in Sochi in the two-story Prichal Hotel but nobody was injured.

Another emergency occurred in southern Krasnodar region where a fire broke out in the State Pedagogical Academy in the city of Armavir.

Eighteen people were evacuated and nobody was injured.
