Armed conflict between West, Iran to lead to catastrophe – Ukraine’s FM

The situation should be regulated only through talks

KIEV, January 12 (Itar-Tass) — An armed conflict between the West and Iran will lead to a catastrophe and may strike a blow at Ukraine’s economy, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko expressed concern over the situation in Iran on his Twitter account.

“Tensions over Iran raise concern. An armed conflict will lead to a surge in oil prices and this will be a strong blow to the global and our (Ukrainian) economy,” he wrote. “An armed conflict will be a catastrophe. The situation should be regulated only through talks.”
