Putin to accumulate proposals on website in crowdsourcing regime

Peskov said that Putin as a candidate has invited the electorate to make their proposals on ways to change Russia for the better

MOSCOW, January 12 (Itar-Tass) — A website of presidential candidate Vladimir Putin has become available on the Internet with the adders www. putin2012.ru. On Friday Putin’s website in the Cyrillic alphabet will be available, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists.

Apart from traditional web-columns such as a candidate's biography and his work record, Putin’s website will accumulate public opinion, Peskov said. "This is an attempt to resort to an instrument of crowdsourcing," the press-secretary said. Commenting on the web column People's opinion: let’s change Russia together, Peskov said that Vladimir Putin as a candidate has invited the electorate to make their proposals on ways to change Russia for the better.

The proposals will be analyzed depending on their ratings, and all them will be published except proposals devoid of common sense, lacking ethic norms and running contrary to the norms of moderating websites, Peskov said.

To log in one's proposal the author should get registered and provide his personal data. The same procedure is necessary to recall the proposal already available. But, neither registration nor identification of one' s personal data are necessary to support or turn down ideas suggested by other Internet users, Peskov said.

The rating analysis will be made without moderators' interference, but only on the basis of statistics data. The authors of the website also envisaged special buttons "for export” of an article, which aroused interest, to popular social networks.
