RF CEC chairman to monitor Kazakhstan’s parliamentary elections

The early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan will take place on January 15.

MOSCOW, January 11 (Itar-Tass) — Chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission Vladimir Churov will take part in monitoring the early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan, the CEC press service told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

Churov will monitor the parliamentary elections at the invitation of the Kazakhstani CEC. A CEC member, Siyabshakh Shapiyev, will work at the elections within the CIS observation mission.

The early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan will take place on January 15. Deputies are elected by party lists. Seven political parties take part in the elections.
