MOSCOW, January 9 (Itar-Tass) — There was an explosion on Monday afternoon at a restaurant in the southwest of Moscow located at 38, Novocheremushkinskaya Street, a law enforcement source told Itar-Tass.
“The explosion occurred on the first floor of a two-storey restaurant. A fire started after the explosion,” the city police source said.
Several fire-fighting squads and rescuers of the city emergencies centre arrived at the scene. According to the restaurant administration, there are people inside. The emergency rescuers have started their evacuation. There were no immediate reports about the blast victims.
