MOSCOW, January 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed an ordinance concerning the State Council Presidium. The Kremlin website posted the document on Friday.
By the rotation principle, the State Council Presidium includes Kurgan Governor Oleg Bogomolov, Chuvashia President Mikhail Ignatyev, Kabardino-Balkaria President Arsen Kanokov, Oryol Governor Alexander Kozlov, Chukchi Autonomous District Governor Roman Kopin, Krasnodar Governor Alexander Tkachyov, Kaliningrad Governor Nikolai Tsukanov and Novosibirsk Governor Vasily Yurchenko.
The State Council is an advisory body operating under the Russian president to consider main issues of the national life and to suggest solutions to current problems.
