VLADIVOSTOK, January 3 (Itar-Tass) — Repair teams in Vladivostok fixed the water supply lines at 13:15, local time, /06:15, Moscow time/, on Tuesday, following a trunk pipeline rupture in the morning that left the larger part of the city (some 400,000 people) without water. Water supply will be fully restored by 16:00 /09:00, Moscow time/, the press service of the regional department of the Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass.
The rupture was caused by low temperatures, the Primvodokanal water supply utility said in a preliminary report.
Vladivostok has a population of 700,000.
