CHISINAU, January 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian peacekeepers wounded a local in the security zone of the Transdniestria conflict.

Moldova’s law enforcement authorities told Itar-Tass on Sunday that the incident occurred at about 07:00 local time /09:00 Moscow time/ at a border crossing station near the town of Vadul-lui-Voda.

According to preliminary information, a group of young people headed in a car to a neighbouring village and refused to follow instructions on crossing the border station.
