MOSCOW, December 31 (Itar-Tass) —— About 20 domestic flights, including those to Makhachkala, Cheboksary, Minvody, Volgograd and other Russian cities, as well as several international flights, have been delayed at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.
Some flights, scheduled to leave Friday evening, may leave no earlier than Saturday morning.
The airport’s information desk says the delays are due to different causes.
On Friday afternoon Domodedovo told Itar-Tass the airport’s operation proceeded as usual, but flights to thirteen cities, including Krasnodar, Vladikavkaz, Sochi and Neftekamsk were unable to leave due to bad weather at the airports of destination.
Flights from Moscow’s two other airports - Sheremetievo and Vnukovo - are in and out on time.
