MOSCOW, December 31 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s pipeline company Transneft this year pumped 30.298 million tonnes of oil from East Siberia to the Pacific Coast, sources in the company told Itar-Tass this week.
Through the port of Kozmino Russia exported 15.298 million tonnes of crude, and through the spur pipeline to China, another 15 million tonnes.
The throughput of the first unit of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline is about 30 million tonnes. Currently Transneft is laying a second line that will connect Skovorodino with the port of Kozmino.
Currently East Siberian oil is delivered from Skovorodino to Kozmino by rail and via a pipeline to China.
