Case of seven people slain in Stavropol territory solved – police

Both the businessman’s family and house personnel, including a maid and a driver

MOSCOW, December 30 (Itar-Tass) —— The main department of the Russian Investigation Committee in the North Caucasian Federal District has completed the investigation of the killing of businessman Vladimir Slizayev aka Khan and another six people in the Stavropol territory, Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Friday.

Both the businessman’s family and house personnel, including a maid and a driver, were slain, he said.

The police blame Roman Gubarev for the bloodbath. They say he used two Makarov pistols and a knife. Gubarev is charged with killing, assault and illegal weapon.

“Detectives have collected sufficient evidence, and the case with the bill of indictment approved by the deputy prosecutor general is transferred to the Stavropol Territorial Court for hearing its merits,” Markin said.
