TIRASPOL, December 26 (Itar-Tass) —— Yevgeny Shevchuk wins at the Transdniestrian presidential elections with 76.4% of votes after 100% of votes had been counted, a source in Shevchuk’s election staff told Itar-Tass, according to the reports of the observers from the polling stations.
Some 3.5% voted against all candidates.
A source in Kaminsky’s election staff confirmed to Itar-Tass that their candidate “loses the second round to Shevchuk with a big lag.”
The Transdniestrian Central Elections Commission will make public the official preliminary election results on Monday.
