YEKATERINBURG, December 25 (Itar-Tass) —— The fire at the Yekaterinburg largest marketplace Tagansky Ryad has spread onto 4,000 square meters and two clothes warehouses are destroyed completely, a source at the regional emergency situations department told Itar-Tass.
The fire has spread into the third warehouse located close to a busy road.
“The roofs and walls of two warehouses tumbled down. The firemen are trying to put out fire in the third warehouse. One fireman is hurt, but doctors say his condition is satisfactory. The firemen concentrate on the protection of other warehouses from the fire. Thirty-two fire engines and more than 150 firemen are putting out the blaze. A fire train is moving towards the site from the Kuzino station in the Pervouralsk city area,” the source said.
