MOSCOW, December 25 (Itar-Tass) —— The breakage of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger jetliner of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines in Minsk is not serious, a source at Sukhoi Civil Aircraft – the SSJ 100 designer – told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
“The sliding shaft of the left door of the front gear broke down. This is not serious and there is no risk to flight safety. The jetliner will come back to Moscow soon,” he said.
Some media outlets said earlier that the plane had a broken gear leg. “This information is erroneous,” the source said.
