MOSCOW, December 22 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev forecasts that taking into consideration the world economic situation, Russia will face difficult times.
Many politicians, leading economists, business people “speak about the beginning of global depression,” Medvedev said in his state-of-the-nation address. “Obviously, difficult times are in store for all of us,” he stated.
However, “our country has successfully passed the exam on crisis, the present team has coped,” the president stressed. “I hope we will manage this once again,” he added.
