MOSCOW, December 22 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty works towards strengthening strategic stability. Medvedev said so in his annual address to the Federal Assembly on Thursday.
"One of the biggest achievements is the conclusion /between Russia and the USA/ of the treaty on the reduction of strategic offensive armaments," the president announced.
