MOSCOW, December 21 (Itar-Tass) — Moscow police released well-known blogger Alexei Navalny and opposition activist Ilya Yashin, following a 15-day arrest for disobeying police at an unsanctioned rally, lawyers told Itar-Tass.

"Navalny has been brought from a detention centre to the Maryinsky Park police department, where law-enforcement officers conducted ‘a prophylactic talk’ with him, whereupon he was set free at 02:30, Moscow time," lawyers Vladim Kobzev and Vadim Prokhorov said.

"Yashin was taken out of a detention centre by force to the Severnoye Tushino Passport Office for ‘prophylactic talk’ which he had refused," Prokhorov said.
