Russia annuls State Duma elections results at 21 stations

"We shall bring those people to responsibility", Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Central Elections Commission said

MOSCOW, December 20 (Itar-Tass) — The State Duma elections results are annulled at 21 election stations, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Central Elections Commission /CEC/ Leonid Ivlev told the Public Chamber on Tuesday.

"We shall bring those people to responsibility", he said, they “will not work in the elections system.”

He said that CEC received 1,686 complaints, where 124 are not processed yet.

“We are awaiting responses from the Investigative Committee, Prosecutor General’s Office and the Interior Ministry, where they had been forwarded for further studies,” he explained.

As for the videos, which claim to show violations at the elections, Ivlev said, the CEC watched already 26 of them, and “only one proves an attempts to stuff the ballot box at a station in the Maritime Territory, which was prevented by the election commission itself.”

“Experts confirmed editing in every other video,” he added.
