Russian entry into WTO gains unanimous approval at ministerial conference

No objections were raised, and the documents were approved separately

GENEVA, December 16 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) gained unanimous approval at the WTO ministerial conference in Geneva on Friday.

Conference chairman, Nigerian Trade and Investment Minister Olusegun Aganga asked the delegates from 153 WTO member states whether they were prepared to approve the documents on the Russian admission to the organization, including the report of the working group and commitments for the markets of commodities and services. No objections were raised, and the documents were approved separately.
