Russian EMERCOM truck column enters nothern Kosovo

MOSCOW, December 16 (Itar-Tass) —— The whole truck column of the Russian Emergencies Ministry (EMERCOM), which is carryng humanitarian cargoes for Kosovo Serbs, has passed the Jarinje customs post, a representative of the EMERCOM information department told Itar-Tass.

“The truck column, which is carrying humanitarian cargoes for Serbs, has passed the border check point,” said an EMERCOM representative.

Previously Yuri Brazhnikov, director of the EMERCOM department for international activities, said that 25 trucks, made into the truck column, are carrying to the Kosovo Serbs 240 tons of the vitally important cargoes, including food, clothes and electricity-generating installations. The cargoes will be delivered to the northern part of Mitrovica.

One more EMERCOM truck column with humanitarian cargoes is on the way to Kosovo. It is going to the Serb city of Nis, where the trucks will be unloaded, and the Russian humanitarian cargoes will be transported to Kosovo by several batches.
