MOSCOW, December 15 (Itar-Tass) — Police have detained two men with a home-made explosive device stuffed with gunpowder in the Moscow region’s Shatura district, local police told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The men were detained in a park in the settlement of Bakshevo. They had a self-made explosive device made of a metal container stuffed with a kilogram of gunpowder and wires.
The search of the apartment of one of the men yielded 500 grams of gunpowder.
Police are taking effort to find out the origin of the explosives and where the bomb was meant to be used.
