Nord Stream suspends gas supply for 3 days for maintenance reason

During the lull time, Nord Stream will also do maintenance work on coastal equipment in Germany

MOSCOW, December 13 (Itar-Tass) — Gas supply through the Nord Stream gas pipeline has been suspended on Tuesday for three days (from 9 am, Moscow time, on December 13 to 9 pm, Moscow time, on December 15) in connection with planned work on Gazprom’s gas link, the Nord Stream company reports.

All contracted amounts will be supplied, its report stressed. During the lull time, Nord Stream will also do maintenance work on coastal equipment in Germany. The company said that regular maintenance work of gas transmission facilities in the first year of operation is a necessary measure to ensure safe and reliable operation of the gas pipeline.
