TIRASPOL, December 12 (Itar-Tass) —— Transdniestrian leader Igor Smirnov requested that the results of the December 11 presidential election in the region be annulled.

He filed his appeal to the Central Election Commission on Monday, December 12.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission postponed the announcement of the results of the election for two days due to “numerous complaints from candidates and voters”, commission spokesman Dmitry Matveyev said.
