27 hurt in passenger bus accident in western Kazakhstan

There were 108 people on the bus, including seven women and one child

ASTANA, December 11 (Itar-Tass) —— A Mercedes passenger bus en route from Moscow to Tashkent turned over at the 80th kilometer of the Uralsk-Aktyubinsk road in western Kazakhstan on Saturday night, the Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry said on Sunday.

There were 108 people on the bus, including seven women and one child. “Seven passengers were taken to the hospital, and medical aid was given to another 20 passengers on-site,” the ministry said.

The bus passengers were accommodated at a sports center in Khobda, Aktyubinsk region, the ministry said.
