VLADIVOSTOK, December 10 (Itar-Tass) — A rally of disagreeing people with the results of elections to the State Duma was held in downtown Vladivostok on Saturday. A picket of 10-30 participants was announced initially, but around 500 people came to the protest action, including activists of the Russian Communist Party and the Tigr non-government movement.
Protesters demanded recognizing the election results to the State Duma and local bodies of power invalid and instituting criminal cases on facts of rigging up polling results.
The protest action passed in an organized way and lasted for around two hours. Law and order were monitored by 20 police officers who did not interfere with protesters.
