NALCHIK, December 10 (Itar-Tass) —— According to the decision of the Operational Headquarters of Kabardino-Balkaria, the counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced in the settlement of Zhankhoteko of the Baksan region from 08.00 Moscow time on Saturday, ITAR-TASS learnt at the republic’s Operational Headquarters.
According to the headquarters, the counter-terrorist operation regime is introduced to prevent acts of terrorism, ensure security of citizens and organizations, search for and detain members of the bandit underground. A number of special measures and temporary restrictions will be in force during the holding of the counter-terrorist operation on the given territory.
