Election reports from regions supplemented with over 1,000 complaints

Five parties will receive state funding on results of the latest State Duma election for the first time ever

MOSCOW, December 9 (Itar-Tass) —— Election reports from 83 elections commissions in Russian regions were supplemented with 1,057 complaints and 33 individual opinions, Central Elections Commission Chairman Leonid Ivlev said on Friday.

Five parties will receive state funding on results of the latest State Duma election for the first time ever, Central Elections Commission Deputy Chairman Leonid Ivlev said on Friday.

Apart from the four parties, which have won parliament seats, state funding will be granted to Yabloko, which has passed the 3% threshold in the election. The funding will be proportionate to the number of votes, he said.

In all, the budget will assign about 48 million rubles to Yabloko. “The total funding of the parties will stand at 1.278 billion rubles,” Ivlev said.
