MOSCOW, December 9 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia cannot agree on the missile defence system with the United States on US terms, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said live on the Russia 24 TV news channel on Friday.
Russia will explain to the US the logic of the country’s position on the missile defence system. “We want to come to terms, but want to agree so that it would be a realistic and clear-cut compromise that takes into account our interests,” Ryabkov noted.
Moscow “cannot agree on the missile defence on US terms that would mean to be detrimental to the country,” he underlined.
