MOSCOW, December 9 (Itar-Tass) — Terminal A at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport will be opened before the end of the outgoing year, Russia’s Border Agency reported on Friday.
“According to reports from the contractor company Aviagroup, the facility is planned to be commissioned on December 15, 2011,” the agency said. Currently, according to the agency, relevant documents are being agreed with federal executive authorities.
A special commission of the Border Agency plans to meet on December 21, 2011 to check whether Terminal A corresponds to the requirements of state control agencies. The terminal will be capable to handle from ten to twelve airplanes a day.
