MAKHACHKALA, December 8 (Itar-Tass) – A policeman was killed and another four people were wounded in the Kizlyar district of the North Caucasus region of Dagestan Thursday night when a road police crew arrived at the site of a road accident, a source in the regional agencies of law and order told Itar-Tass.
“The incident occurred at around 21:00 hours on a road between the townships of Shaumyan and Kosyakino,” he said.
Early reports say the policeman who died is an investigator from a local department of the Interior. One more policemen and three civilians who got trapped in the zone of fire were wounded.
Police operatives were clarifying the details of the crime at the time of reporting.
