MOSCOW, December 8 (Itar-Tass) —— The demonstration for honest elections, which is due on Saturday in Moscow’s Revolution Square, will become illegal if it unites over 300 participants, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Alexander Gorbenko told the event’s organisers on Thursday.

“You have declared 300 participants, and if they are more we shall bring to responsibility the organisers,” he told audience of the Echo of Moscow radio station. “We shall be warning that this part of the event is not sanctioned, and they all due legal action will be used.”

He explained that in case of violation organisers may be responsible for a fine or an administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

Meanwhile, social networks confirm that about 20,000 are planning to come to the square on Saturday.
