MOSCOW, December 4 (Itar-Tass) —— A strong United Russia faction is needed in the parliament and good relations with the partners in the State Duma are needed, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said.
The United Russia Party will enter in coalition, bloc relations with other political forces in the State Duma, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who is the top candidate on the United Russia federal list, told a press briefing at the United Russia election headquarters on Sunday.
“Due to a more complicated configuration of the State Duma we will have to enter in coalition, bloc relations on various issues. This is the parliamentarism,” he underlined.
The United Russia Party actually represents the interests of 50% of Russian citizens, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said.

“The alignment, which we will get in the State Duma, reflects the real political alignment in the country,” Medvedev said with confidence.
Thanking all United Russia supporters Medvedev noted that “a huge amount of work was done to show that the party has the moral right to continue its policy.” “I believe that we have done a huge amount of work to this effect and would like to thank all of you cordially,” he underlined.
