Over 100 detained for unauthorized action in Moscow

Meanwhile, about 200 reporters attended the rally

MOSCOW, December 4 (Itar-Tass) —— Over 100 people were detained for an unauthorized rally on the Triumfalnaya Square in downtown Moscow, the press service of the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

About 300 people were participating in the unauthorized rally on the Triumfalnaya Square, the press service reported. Meanwhile, about 200 reporters attended the rally.

“Despite repeated warning of police that the protest action is not authorized by the authorities the rally did not break up. As a result more than 100 people were detained,” the press service said. They were brought to the police stations to make up protocols over administrative offence.
