Russian delegation heading for Malaysia stranded in Moscow

The Emirates Airways flight from Moscow to Dubai has been unable to leave Domodedovo airport for four hours already for technical reasons

MOSCOW, December 4 (Itar-Tass) — A Russian delegation heading for the Lima-2011 arms exhibition in Malaysia has been stranded in Moscow and will be unable to attend the exhibition's opening. The Emirates Airways flight from Moscow to Dubai has been unable to leave Domodedovo airport for four hours already for technical reasons.

As a result, the delegation comprising representatives of state corporations "Russian Technologies", "Rosoboronexport", the United Shipbuilding Company and other export-oriented defence enterprises will be late for a connection flight to the exhbition's venue on the Langkawi Island.

Emirates Airways representatives say that the final decision on the plane's repairs or replacement should be passed at the company's headquarters in Dubai.
