Lokomotiv defeated Sturm 3:1 on Thursday night

MOSCOW, December 2 (Itar-Tass) —— Three supporters of the Austrian Sturm football club were beaten and hospitalized late on Thursday in the Russian capital after an Europa League match with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Police said a brawl began overnight between Lokomotiv and Sturm supporters near Borodino Hotel not far from the Lokomotiv stadium and the fight continued even in the lounge of the hotel.

“As a result, three Austrian citizens were hospitalized. Their condition is being specified,” police said adding it detained nobody as Lokomotiv fans fled the hotel before police and ambulances arrived.

Lokomotiv defeated Sturm 3:1 on Thursday night.
