TSKHINVAL, December 1 (Itar-Tass) — Ex-candidate for president of South Ossetia, opposition leader Alla Dzhioyeva, is currently meeting with Sergei Vinokurov, Head of the Presidential Directorate for Interregional Relations and Cultural Contacts with Foreign Countries, Itar-Tass reports from the capital of South Ossetia.
A group of reporters waits for the participants in the meeting to interview them. It is not clear how long the meeting will continue. Dzhioyeva’s supporters are waiting in front of the government building. The situation is calm.
Sources in the republic’s government said earlier that the purpose of Vinokurov’s visit is to assist in settling the political crisis that emerged in South Ossetia.
