TSKHINVAL, December 1 (Itar-Tass) — A meeting of supporters of ex-candidate for South Ossetian president Alla Dzhioyeva is in progress in the central square of capital Tskhinval, Itar-Tass reports from the site.
The number of protesters does not exceed 300. Dzhioyeva’s electioneering agent Anatoly Barankevich, former head of the South Ossetian Security Council, addresses the protesters.
The government building in the square is cordoned off by crack police. All approaches to the building are blocked by trucks.
