MOSCOW, December 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will address the nation on Friday, December 2 in connection with the forthcoming parliamentary elections, Medvedev’s press secretary Natalya Timakova said on Thursday.
“Tomorrow, the Russian head of state will address the nation in connection with forthcoming elections to the State Duma. The address will be broadcast at 12:00 local time,” she said.
According to Timakova, it is common practice to make such a statement in the run-up to the national voting.
