MOSCOW, December 1 (Itar-Tass) —— A total of 697 international observers will monitor the Duma elections, head of the Central Electoral Commission Vladimir Churov said on Thursday. “The accreditation of international observers is coming to an end, a total of 697 observers will work at the elections,” he said.
As Churov said, “according to the preliminary counting, there will be more than 500,000 home observers.”
The elections to the State Duma of the sixth convocation will be held on December 4. All seven political parties registered by the Ministry of Justice take part in them.
