MOSCOW, November 30 (Itar-Tass) —— The fire, which broke out at a three-storey warehouse in south-eastern Moscow, keeps growing. “A total fire area reached 1,500 square meters,” the press service of the Moscow emergency situation service told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The fire has spread on the shop attached to the warehouse, the law enforcement agencies reported.
No injured people were reported. “We are investigating whether any people could be staying at the burning building,” the law enforcement agencies said.
The fire alarm call came at 2.06 p.m. Moscow time about the fire breaking out at a three-storey warehouse at 99, Volgogradsky Avenue. The fire was ranked at the second point of a five-point fire scale.
A very heavy fire screen is seen at the fire site.
“The traffic on the Volgogradsky Avenue is strongly obstructed over fire engines lined up and a heavy smoke,” the press service added.
