NKorea's KCNA to begin to transmit reports in Chinese on Dec 1

KCNA currently transmits news reports in Korean, English, and Spanish

PYONGYANG, November 30 (Itar-Tass) — The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will begin to transmit articles, photographs and video materials in the Chinese language on Dec 1.

A report that has been circulated here by the state-run news agency of the DPRK points out that such activities "will make a contribution to the development of the traditional relations of friendship between Pyongyang and Beijing and to the deepening of mutual understandng between the peoples of the two countries".

KCNA currently transmits news reports in Korean, English, and Spanish.

The 65th anniversary of the founding of the KCNA will be marked on Decemeber 5. KCNA is the provider of news for all North Korean media and importany sources of information.
