MOSCOW, November 28 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s Central Election Commission /CEC/ has accredited 646 international observers for the elections of deputies of the State Duma, CEC’s press service said on Monday.
“Several more dozens applications from observers are being considered now,” the source said. Most registered observers come from the CIS and ODIHR of OCSE.
Earlier on Monday, CEC’s Secretary Nikolai Konkin told reporters about 555 accredited international observers.
The elections of the deputies of the State Duma of the sixth convocation are due on December 4.
