MOSCOW, November 28 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Borodavkin met his Chinese counterpart Cheng Guoping on Monday to discuss the schedule of upcoming high-level contacts in 2012.
“During the talks, the diplomats of the two countries summed up the results of Russian-Chinese cooperation in 2011 and considered preparations for the upcoming high-level contacts in 2012 and further development of partnership and strategic interaction,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
“The parties discussed key issues in the field of security in the Asia Pacific Region and cooperation within regional multilateral structures – the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation), the EAC (East Asia Community), the ARF (ASEAN Regional Forum) and others,” the ministry said.
