LONDON, November 27 (Itar-Tass) —— One of the six Russian sailors from the Swanland ship wrecked in the Irish Sea has been found; there is no information about his condition as yet.
The Swanland sent the May Day signal at 6:00 a.m. Moscow time on Sunday. Its hull cracked in a gale, and the ship sank not far from the Llyn peninsula in north Wales.
Two sailors were rescued soon after the wreck and taken to the hospital. British and Irish rescuers are searching for five sailors.
The rescuers said that the bad weather was hampering the search, but the sailors were wearing wetsuits, which helped them stay in the water for a rather long period. The water temperature in the wreck zone is 15 degrees Centigrade.
