TEHRAN, November 27 (Itar-Tass) — Iran is ready to strike at projects of NATO anti-ballistic missile systems (ABM) which are in the Turkish territory if there is a threat from the alliance, said on Saturday commander of aerospace units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Amirali Hajizade.

“If anything threatens us, we are ready to make a strike at NATO ABM systems in Turkey and then at other targets,” he said.

Several Western states, including the US, Britain, France and Canada announced this week imposition of new sanctions against Iran. These measures were taken after the publication of a regular IAEA report on Iran and are aimed, above all, at petrochemical and banking sectors of Iran.
