MOSCOW, November 26 (Itar-Tass) — Favmous Russian singer Alla Pugacheva presented on Saturday her new protege, winner of the "Faktor A" teleproject -- singer Sergei Savin to her friends, colleagues and reporters.
The presentation of two debut clips of the 26-year-old actor gathered in Moscow virtually all her close friends. Filipp Kirkorov was the first to come. He was followed by composer Igor Nikolayev and Vladijir Matetsky, parodist Maxim Galkin, film director Sergei Solovyov and others. Kristina Orbakaite (Pugacheva's daughter) came the past with her husband Mikhail Zemtsov.
"It is very important time for me this Saturday: Sergei launches his two deput clips at a time, Pugacheva noted."They were made almost simultaneously; director Irina Mironova decided to film Savin in his development, and I liked the idea." Pugacheva acknowledged that she would like very much that the public would get acquainted with this extraordinary actor. "He touched us to the quck," she explained. "He has a funny feeling to be to the liking to all. He has artistry and vigour, much needed by every singer."
"You are present today at the birth of a star -- small or big, it will all depend," Pugacheva said. "I called Valery Leontyev 'a hit image' sometime in the past, and I should like that Seryozha would gain a hit image and gained his own hits." Besides, the famous singer added, Savin is quite capable of being a film star. "It's not accidental that it invited film director Sergei Solovyev for the presentation," she quipped.
Savin was the winner in the project "Faktor A" -- the Russian version of the British "The X Factor". This is a musical show of talanted people, whose main aim is to look for and develop talated singers. The jury included Russian singers Lolita, Roman Yemelyanov and Boris Krasnov. Pugacheva headed the jury. "I don't want to be called Savin's producer," the singer warned. "I'm a tuitor, assistant and an experienced person who can lead through the life of show biz."
Puchageva admitted at the same time that she could not help assisting the young singer. "To my great regret, Krasnov who had wanted to become a producer of Savin, is now seriously ill, and I as a friend of Krasnov, could not help leaving his favourate singer without help and assistance," she said. However, the singer noted that she does not plan to be an eternal patron of the actor. "When I feel that it is high time, I shall announce all: That's all, I leave from this moment," she explained.
When Alla Pugacheva completed her introductory speech, two Savin's song clips were shown on a big streen "I'm jelous" and "I hate" that were authored by himself. The first shows him as a popular singer, surrounded by his friends adoring him, and the second has everything: love, fist-fighting and chasing in cars. Incidentally, all stunts were performed by Savin himself.
At the end, Savin performed several new songs for the gathering. It was clear that Pugacheva was satisfied with her protege.
